So last week at the TV station were were talking about sturdy equipment that could hold up to the abuse that Access Television people dish out. It reminded me of my college roomate Brock and his Texas Instrument calculator. I believe it was a TI-58 but it was too long ago That was the best calculator. It wasn’t fancy, was slim, just 12 LED’s and buttons. What is was though, it was able to survive the high velocity impact against our aparment wall, after a particularly tough round of differential calculus. Take that DELL! I think that I have been through 2 palm pilots and built computers because the last one couldnt keep up with the gaming scene in the last 2 years. What does that say about craftsmanship? So I want to thanks Texas Instrument for making something that stands the test of …….the wall of my old apartment.

Looking forward to the warmer weather. Since Samantha is in training to ride her bike to school in the fall, I may have to really get the TREK out and start pedeling. I should actually take my cue from Stacey who is getting herself up for the MS walking season. There are some people who actually train before the walks, unlike me who train during the walk.

Also I think that Greykell should be mentioned too. She and I have been on the “Well Ill get around to training for the next walk” program for all the walks we’ve done together. But THIS year it seems that she is actually training ahead of walk. And she has also lost about 35 pounds (almost 2 babies worth). So while I am sitting in front of the TV waiting for news about a cure for obesity, I am going to really think REALLY REALLY hard about riding my bike more.

Blue Light The visible blue light has a wavelength of about 475 nm. Because the blue wavelengths are shorter in the visible spectrum, they are scattered more efficiently by the molecules in the atmosphere. This causes the sky to appear blue.
Green Light The visible green light has a wavelength of about 510 nm. Grass, for example, appears green because all of the colors in the visible part of the spectrum are absorbed into the leaves of the grass except green. Green is reflected, therefore grass appears green.

So we are really only talking about 35 NANOMETERS do you people have any idea how small that is??? and you are worried about the difference of Green verse Blue?

I also recall from research I did reading to Samantha and Garrett before the book was sent through the shreder that Tokay gecko‘s are Blue so maybe, this site is about Grumpy “Tokay” Gecko’s or maybe the blue tongued Skink, which is NOT a gecko but damn close enough. I think that Geico is doing a horrible disservice to the world making those commericals with just Green geckos (which look more like Anole to me). But first before I go on I would like to thank Geico for the double stock split they did before they bought out the stock Stacey had with them. No really, thank you. You may be ruining peoples understanding of the animal kingdom with your dumb CG animations, but thank you.
