So I realize that somewhere buried deep in this blog, I am a perpetuator of an Internet meme. Dont go lookinging for it. The spam kharma police with hunt you down and hurt you. Not wanting to turn this into a “Post a cute picture” blog, I am afraid that Herbert and Densecat are treading dangerously close. Then I read on the GLEEFUL’S page talking about Wondermark’s new Internet Meme for the new Year. Like a moth to the flame, I was sucked into the Flickr album of Bears with Ill Fitting Hats!!!! Curse you!!!!

So for a comic starved world the new series “Herbert and Densecat” will soon be coming to a blog page near you!
It is a series from the mind that brought you:
“I’m the bhuddah in the Clown suit”
and
“Jupiter has a lot of moons!”
Yes, I will try to bring to you the story of Herbert and Densecat, as faithfully as possible to how it flows out of Garrett’s mouth. A truely tall order. Since he has been saying that in Episode 71 Jenn comes back because she is an Apple Care Engineer, I am not sure, with the writers guild strike, if I can get caught up.
He is a small number of our characters:
Here is Densecat. Its a girl cat.
Here is Herbert. I only recall he was friends with Jen, but she left, but Zoe is his friend too,
Here is Zoe. I know nothing about her. She is a absolutely new character, but she is beautiful. What else does one need to know.
Jen is the original character that I knew of. She apparently has disappeared only to come back later (episode 71) as an Apple Care Engineer. Your guess is as good as mine.
Who knows when I can get a workable story out of Garrett. But he keeps wanting to do story boards. So be afraid…be VERY afraid.

The kids sing the Portal song “Still Alive” all the time. Scott Ramsoomair of VG CATS fame has made a Fan Video of Coulton’s song. You should check it out here!
I ran across a Weebl & Bob cartoon about Portal. If you dont know Weebl & Bob, its a funny little flash cartoon along the lines of Homestar Runner. Its a fair bit more NSFW, but the voices alway mumble so not so much verbal profanity. But I can warn you, if you play it with the speakers up I bet you will get people asking “What the Hell is THAT?”
OH and a BIG Shout out to my brother (from another mother) STAN, but everyone knows him as Nancy…wait thats not right. He is another faithful reader that I didn’t credit as stopping through here on a semi regular basis. We shared office space at NIH when I started at Bethesda.
